I recently sent out a email offering to submit peoples articles to up to 400 sites/blogs for free, I thought this was a good bonus for owners of Article Helper Pro.
It sort of completes the circle, they use Article Helper Pro to write the articles and then I distribute the articles for them.
No charge, all they have to do is send me the articles and some other details and i do all the work..
Out of the 70 people I emailed, One person took me up on it!
I spoke to a mate of mine and he suggested various reasons for the low take up.
:- They didn’t understand what I am offering
:- They don’t trust free stuff
:- They see no value in more links
:- I didn’t sell the offer to them
:- It is work and people don’t really want to do any of that
So basically, I need to explain how it will help them, sell it more and explain why it is free and it would be better if I put a monetary value on it. You know like on the bonus pages, “This ebook is worth $47 but you get it for free”
I never thought it would be so hard to help people..lol

Today I got a email from someone who is doing his friend a favor, now online is no different to offline we have friends and if they are in trouble we try and help them.
This email was basically saying that the person needed to make $40 so he could pay his hosting!
$40..
Now someone else I know recently had a huge medical bill come in and asked for some help as he had already sunk everything he had into a project. It is different asking for help with a $3k medical bill than for a $40 hosting bill.
I am pretty sure I could send a email to my list today doing a 24 hour special on one or another of my products and make $40 without to much trouble. But would I tell them I was in such dire financial crap that I needed to basically beg them to buy something so I could pay my hosting bill (which is a lot more than $40 a month by the way)..no I wouldn’t.
I am sure it is the amount that is bothering me rather than the fact that he asked for help, $40 just seems such a small amount to not be able to find, if you are working online and have a list and your own products there is no reason you should ever be in that level of need.
Maybe it is some marketing ploy that I am not aware of, it sure does seem to be happening more and more, a bit like the “i sent you the wrong link” or “my server melted” emails that are everywhere these days.
Ok rant over, if you know why these emails are appearing more often let me know, maybe I will have to start using it..lol

A year or so ago I made a mistake!
I am not to much of a man to admit that I made the mistake, but I sure do wish that a year later it wasn’t still causing me butt ache!
I used ipower.com to register some domains!
I admit it, they were cheap and I fell for it, but now I am paying!
Their interface is horrible, all I want to do is stop my domains auto renewing and so far it has taken me a hour and I am still thinking that the easiest way may be just to cancel the card I used to pay for them.
I should not have to cancel my debit card just so I can’t be billed for something I don’t want!
I know ipower are “updating” their process, but in my opinion it still isn’t up to it.
You can also choose not to renew your domain name. To do so,
simply opt out of the Automated Domain Renewal System
So when I log in I expect to see something that says “domain renewal” or even “automated domain renewal”
no such luck..
oh and the really bad news..
I registered this domain there and want to keep this, do I am going to have to try and move it to namecheap who are the best domain register.
Ok rant over for now..
Take this as a warning, it isn’t worth saving a dollar or two if you then have to spend hours trying to fix the butt ache that this can be.

I have finally managed to hook up my PC , moving house is far to much hard work and it sure does take up some time, and all I seem to be hearing about is Hubpages.
Apparently you can earn money on Hubpages and it is a good place to get links.
I KNOW THIS..
I worked last year with a guy to produce a excellent video and PDF guide to hubpages, he has just sent me a totally updated version of it as well so we are not talking about something that is behind the curve.
It is really beginning to feel like the “gurus” are purposefully not mentioning stuff, or maybe they are just behind the curve. I do know that I see some well known names buy my stuff and then release their own tool/product. I suppose I should see this as a compliment..
Ok rant over, back to unpacking!
