I was talking to a very good friend of mine yesterday about personal development and why some people do better than others and why we fail when we are so near to success..
I don’t really have any answers, but one thing I have noticed online is that it is much easier to believe people who tell you NOT to do something than to try it and see.
The result is that a lot of people do NOTHING..
The Internet is quite a simple place really, build a site, get some links, drive some traffic and make some money.
ooh I can’t build a site because I don’t know html - no problem buy a ready made site and change the content..
I can’t write content because I don’t know anything about xxxxx - No problem read up about it on the net or go to the library and do it there.
Someone told me links from XXXXXX (insert just about anything here) don’t work anymore - BULLS&^T - I can relate that it is easier to listen to people who say not to do something, I mean who can say you are doing something wrong if you never do anything?

Comment Hut does so much more than just wordpress and I blame myself for not holding people by then hand and showing them, So I apologize for that and I will try and rectify that soon.
There is no ONE way to get the links you need to drive traffic to your site, there are loads of ways and you should be using every one of them.
Ignore Fred down the pub, and be wary of anyone who has a handle like “seo expert, or SEO anything” in some public forum, especially if he has made 100’s or thousands of posts.
If he is a seo expert he should be doing it for a living and he doesn’t have time to be making 100’s or thousands of posts in forums..
Ok rant over, I am now going back to working on my next product .. which is to do with Links!
Links are the air that the Internet breathes..
Oh and if you are just starting out.. do SOMETHING… write a article, build some links..just do something for Pete’s sake..

Maybe that’s because they get their eyes on the obstacles and forget to focus on the goal. It certainly is easier than pushing out of your comfort zone and learning new things you have to take action on.
