I mentioned that I had bought this product yesterday and I promised a review so here goes. First of let me talk about the 800lb Gorilla in the room (no not the mother in law).. PLF2

I (like many others) had been following the launch of Product Launch Formula 2 , which was selling at $2k, and is from all accounts a masterpiece of launching products which will make boatloads of cash. Now I am not questioning whether Jeff Walker knows his stuff, I am sure he does, and I do not think it is “overhyped crap” as someone else mentioned. So why didn’t I buy it?
I mean I have plenty of products that would benefit from a million dollar launch..
Because $2k is not a amount I have laying around right now!

So in its place I spent $9.95 on the Recipe For Sales Page Traffic
What is included

The checklist is a very good idea, at just 2 pages it is something you can print out and keep on your desk while you get ready to launch your product.
The recipe itself is 56 pages in length, the first 7 pages are all the usual bits and pieces, introductions, disclaimers etc.

So what about the 49 pages..
I like them, I like his writing style, I think he has got enough screenshots in there to break it up without feeling like he is just trying to pad the book out.
At $9.95 this is a cheap report so he has taken the opportunity to mention his other products in there and that in itself shows you that he knows the game. Kevin covers using articles and videos to promote your sales page.

All the tasks are broken down into when you should be doing them, weeks before launch, days before, hours before and at launch time. The video method isn’t covered in huge detail but that is because he has a separate recipe available showing you how to make videos.

Overall I think it was worth the $9.95, if you have already got a list and have launched a few products then you may not learn a huge amount however if it only helps you make one more sale then it should more than pay for itself.
I will be looking at some more of his recipes and will let you know what I think..

Finally you can get your very own Wordpress Goldmine !

I think I mentioned Wordpress Goldmine before but it has just been released today so I can actually mention it officially now.
The chances are that if you are reading this blog that you already know exactly what Wordpress is and there is every chance that you have one or two blogs and possibly even sites that you have made using wordpress.

Part 4 and 5 of the Wordpress Goldmine cover Web 2.0 and shares some more information on what sort of articles you should be writing (this is more important than most people ever think).

Rather than just being a book all about Wordpress, Wordpress Goldmine is a book on how to use Wordpress as a income making machine. Personally I like Mark’s style of writing and his forthright discussion of making money online. Mark may have only been working online for a little over 2 years but he sure has moved into the money makers now and he has done it in a way that really helps people.

Wordpress Goldmine is good for newcomers who want to use wordpress but aren’t sure where to start , but it is also full of little nuggets that will help even the most seasoned online marketers.
I especially liked the ideas about making money from offline businesses.

I love video, I find I can make a video in 20 minutes that covers things that would take me all day (or more) to write. When I am trying to show my mum how to do something on the pc I make a video for her, seeing how something is done seems much easier than reading it.

I like the fact that I can compile a set of videos all into one place and just send the whole kit and kaboodle with a big CLICK HERE and they can watch what I want them to all in one go.

The software allows you to include links for people to click, which is really good as it means you can give them a call to action in the software.

All in all, I life it and at less than $10 (at the time of writing) I don’t think you can go wrong.

When my friend Stewart showed me the sample video from this site , it made me smile and almost cry (I think I am hormonal..lol).
Seriously though, as a married man I do find it hard to know what to buy for my wife. I am lucky that Kathy is a very practical woman and tells me what she wants (she asked for pans one xmas ,yes honestly).
