I mean I know that there is the “Ready, Aim, Fire” school of thought and I have done that myself. Sometimes I make a load of cash sometimes I make zilch.
I like the sites that make me loads a lot more than the ones that make me zilch.
I have started using two tools lately and here is one of them.

I am sure you can see the worth of a tool that helps you find a profitable subject to work on, I mean most of us can write a article or three on any subject with a little bit of research, but what if you spend your time researching and writing on a subject that is unprofitable?
All the content in the world won’t help you if your subject just isn’t popular enough (no searches) or the competition is so strong that it would take a Herculean effort to get your pages ranked.
Well Micro Niche Finder helped me get past just these problems, it finds how many searches are being done and it also weighs the strength of competition.
So you can find out if your site is going to get buried in visitors or get buried by competition, and that is useful.
I hate to think how many hours I have spent building sites only to find that no one was searching for the subject or that there was so much competition I got nowhere.
My advice..
Use Micro Niche Finder to find a subject then build a small site, even as small as 1 page and a squidoo lens and maybe a hubpage on the same subject (with rewritten content) and then aim links from both of them to the site.
Don’t just aim at making sites with adsense, look for relevant products, or pay per lead , you can earn a lot more from them than from adsense.
