We need to move to a bigger house, we only have two bedrooms and we now have 2 kids.
Elizabeth is fine with her crib being in our room now, but I dont fancy having her in with us for much longer.
Anyway, today we go to the bank that we have our mortgage with..
They are really nice and all baby talk as you can imagine, I mean my daughter is beautiful..lol
Them:- “How much do you want to borrow”
Me:- “here are our w2’s , and other finanical bits, so how much can be borrow”
Them :- “No, you tell me how much you need to borrow and I will get it approved”
The bank person was laughing at my stupidity I think..
I mentioned a figure and she said they would approve us for $30k more..
I want to borrow less not more.. This really seemed to be funny..
Them:- “What about your credit cards”
Me:- “We dont have any”
Them:- Do you want one…
Me :- err we have them , we just don’t owe anything..
I just don’t get it, I thought that a lot of our present problems were due to people borrowing to much and having to much debt..
Shouldn’t the bank be talking us into a smaller loan not a bigger one?
Ok so we now start the repainting etc in earnest, we are going to rent this place out so it needs to have a pretty look to it.
I would rather be here doing just about anything but apparently I will be painting instead..
